Bear waves hello! Animal’s greeting caught in viral video

A friendly Kodiak bear at the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, Wash., has become an Internet hit.

A friendly bear at an animal reserve in Washington has found an adorable way to spend his retirement – waving hello to the park’s visitors.

The Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, Wash., is home to orphaned and retired animals, like the Kodiak bear whose charming greeting prompted viral fame this week.

The seven-second video, “Polite Bear Waves Hello,” has yielded more than 300,000 views on YouTube.

The clip shows a young girl waving to the bear from the inside of a vehicle, urging him to mimic her gesture.

He does – eagerly shaking his paw right back at her, and it’s not the first time the creature’s been caught waving on camera. Several clips on the video-sharing website prove the bear has been delighting park visitors for years.
